European Researchers' Night
One evening a year, science takes over the streets of Europe. DiBS brings ERN to five university cities across the Western Balkans — and beyond, to 30 rural communities.
Science meets the city
European Researchers' Night is Europe's largest science communication event, held every year on the last Friday of September. Researchers step out of their labs to meet citizens through experiments, demonstrations, science shows, exhibitions and conversations.
Within DiBS, ERN takes place simultaneously in Kosovska Mitrovica, Pristina, Podgorica, Tirana and Durrës, connected by live streams and joint digital programming — plus 15 local events per year in smaller towns and rural areas.
